Trend Micro Password Manager stores all your passwords and sensitive information in a single and safe place: Trend Micro's secure servers. This way, you no longer need to memorize them or write them down to be able to access your online services, but you just need to remember a single master password. The program also provides automatic form filling and secure notes services.

Although this tool provides an installer and is installed as any standard desktop application, it behaves more as a web application than as a desktop one. The program's installer allows you to create a free account with Trend Micro and to configure your master password. Next, it will request you to install add-ons or extensions for your web browsers, where you can enjoy the program's functionality. The MS Windows edition of the program supports the three most popular web browsers - Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. However, the publishers provide installers for other platforms such as MacOS, iOS and Android. Since your passwords and personal information are saved using cloud-storage services, once you save a new password it will be immediately available in all your desktop and portable devices. The only conditions are that you have installed the corresponding add-on/extension, and that you are logged in your Trend Micro account.

Once everything is set up, you can start storing your passwords and personal information either manually, or automatically when you sign in a website or fill an online form. In fact, the program recognizes when you do so and asks you whether to store that specific information or not. Moreover, at any moment you can lock the password manager and stop automatic sign in and form filling until you restart the service (by providing your master password again). Finally, a password generator is included with this program as a complementary tool, and it allows you to create and store really strong passwords of any length, in no time.

In a nutshell, Trend Micro Password Manager is a versatile software tool that surely can save you a lot of time when it comes to filling online forms or signing in to any website. The program can be indefinitely used for free, but it will allow you to manage up to five passwords. However, if you usually have to deal with tens of login/password combinations, like most of us do nowadays, I would say it's worth acquiring a license of this powerful tool.
